Turkish parliamentarian: 9/11 wasn't just Mossad - CIA also involved

By Kevin Barrett,

Yesterday I blogged about being invited to lunch in the Turkish National Legislature with a Turkish National Police Chief and a leading parliamentarian, and discussing Turkey's triumph (so far) over the false-flag terror plot known as Ergenekon - which would have been Turkey's 9/11 had the plotters succeeded.

Turkey put the blame on Netanyahu for the latest terrorist operations in Istambul

Turkey's intel severs ties with Mossad

ANKARA, Turkey, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Turkey's intelligence establishment has severed working ties with Israel's Mossad, further proof of strained relations between the countries, officials said.
A report in the Sabah newspaper quoted officials as saying the two agencies that once enjoyed close cooperation have stopped exchanging intelligence and conducting joint operations.

Israeli coup d'etat in Turkey: Indictment exposes details of Sledgehammer coup plan

Çetin Doğan
Çetin Doğan
An indictment in a suspected military plan to overthrow the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) has come to expose the content of the subversive plot, including how the planned coup would be staged and how it would be supported by the media and how coup instigators would “get rid of” all actual and possible opponents of the military takeover.

Israelis, Turkish Jews, and Kurdish Jews Behind Insurgency in Turkey

Operation Cage: a case study in Israeli false flag tactics

By Wayne Madsen — Online Journal Contributing Writer

(WMR) – Top Turkish government and intelligence sources told WMR in Ankara and Istanbul that Turkish intelligence has obtained evidence that Israeli intelligence is squarely behind repeated Ergenekon “deep state” plots aimed at overthrowing the Turkish government of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, including Operations Sledgehammer and Cage.

Israeli special operations personnel have also been discovered by Turkish intelligence providing support for Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) terrorist attacks aimed at Turkish army and navy personnel. Israeli forces, operating from northern Iraq, are believed to have provided support for a recent PKK attack on a Turkish army post near the town of Semdinli. Ironically, Turkish forces used an Israeli-supplied Heron unmanned aerial vehicle system to track down the PKK in Iraq and identify their Israeli support team.

Mossad support for the Cage Operation Action Plan, hatched within the ranks of the Turkish Naval Forces Command, is a textbook lesson in Mossad false flag operations around the world.

As reported by Today’s Zaman, Cage plans were found on a CD last year in the office of retired Major Levent Bektas, who was linked to caches of buried weapons in Istanbul. Cage plans called for the assassination of non-Muslim figures in Turkey and then casting the blame on Erdogan’s Justice and Development Party (AKP). Cage was actually implemented in the assassinations of Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink, Catholic Father Andrea Santoro, and three Christian missionaries in Malatya. Behind these assassinations of gentiles was the hidden hand of the Jewish state’s intelligence service, Mossad, according to informed Turkish sources.

Cage also targeted school children. TNT was have to been placed in a submarine on display at the Rahmi M. Koc museum in Istanbul and detonated at the same time a group of school children were due to visit the site. According to Today’s Zaman, Cage was divided into four parts: “Preparation,” “Raising Fear,” “Shaping Public Opinion,” and “Action.” The similarities between Cage and the well-documented Israeli pre- and post-involvement in the 9/11 attack on the United States are stark, particularly the “preparation” phase involving hundreds of Israeli “art students” and furniture movers who were, in reality, Mossad and Israeli Defense Force special operations personnel.

The “Action” phase included assassinations and kidnappings of major non-Muslim figures in Turkey, as well as the planting of bombs near non-Muslim targets and arson attacks on their homes and offices. The “Action” plan also called for placing propaganda in key media outlets, including pre-designated web sites, blaming the terrorist attacks on Erdogan’s AKP government.

Israel responsible for the wave of terrorist attacks, PKK is under Tel Aviv commands

Islamic Resistance, in and around the Caspian Sea and Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan received 'pre-emptive strike' orders against israeli interests, making an attack from Georgia impossible and Saudi Arabia the only way for a Netanyahu attack.

Turks suspect 'Israeli link with PKK '

TEL AVIV, Israel, June 16 (UPI) -- As relations between Israel and its erstwhile ally Turkey deteriorate following the Israeli navy's May 31 killing of nine Turks, authorities in Ankara are investigating whether Israel had links to a deadly attack by Kurdish separatists on the same day.

Shortly after midnight May 31, fighters of the Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK, attacked a military vehicle at the naval base at the port of Iskenderun, in Hatay province near the border with Syria, and killed seven naval personnel.

Iskenderun has never been a target for the PKK, which has been fighting the Turkish state since 1984 for an autonomous Kurdish enclave, although it has carried out attacks across Turkey.

A few hours later, Israeli naval commandos stormed the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara, flagship of a convoy carrying humanitarian aid to Israeli-blockaded Gaza, in international waters. They killed nine Turks they claimed attacked them and wounded dozens of pro-Palestinian activists aboard the vessel.

Relations between Israel and Turkey, under strain since Turkey's Islamist prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, furiously denounced Israel's December 2008 invasion of the Gaza Strip, nosedived into bitter acrimony.

Many Turks saw the two murderous incidents as two sides of the same coin.

This was reflected within the political elite. Huseyin Celik, deputy chairman of Erdogan's Justice and development Party, or AKP, noted, "We do not think it's a coincidence that these two attacks took place at the same time."

Turks were furious at the Israeli action in the eastern Mediterranean and turned out at the funerals of their slain countrymen in huge numbers, led by senior government officials.

So far as is known, Turkey's intelligence service hasn't been able to provide any proof of possible Israeli involvement in the Iskenderun killings. Erdogan's interior minister, Besir Atalay has even sought to calm tempers.

"I don't want to say these (incidents) are related," he said. "Such investigations require close attention and we want to refrain from careless statements lacking tangibility …

"These subjects are delicate, especially when they have international dimensions."

Still, the Turks point to Israel's involvement with Kurdish guerrillas in Iraq since the 1960s. Israel aided them off and on, depending on the geopolitical environment, because they fought against the Baathist regime which was virulently anti-Israel.

The Israelis returned to Iraqi Kurdistan prior to the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003 to train the peshmerga -- "those who face death" -- who were key U.S. allies.

Israelis have also been reported to be operating with Kurdish rebels in Iran along with U.S. and British agents, or Special Forces, in what Tehran claims is a systematic campaign to destabilize the Islamic Republic.

The Israelis have no history of supporting Turkey's Kurdish separatists. But if the crisis reaches the point where Israel, along with the United States, decides an Islamist government in Turkey is a liability, all things are possible.

Israel kept clear of the PKK because the Jewish state had maintained a discreet intelligence link with Ankara since the 1950s. That eventually produced a 1996 military cooperation pact.

Turkey, one of the first countries to recognize Israel in 1948, was strategically important to Israel because it was the only Muslim state with which it had relations. For all intents and purposes that is no longer the case.

The relationship began to change when the Islamist AKP took power in 2002 and Erdogan sought to restore Turkey's traditional role as a regional power.

For a time, Ankara put out feelers to the PKK in hopes of ending 26 years of bloodshed in which 40,000 people have perished. But in recent months, the separatists have resumed attacks.

PKK activity usually picks up in the spring when the mountain snows melt. But Ankara has been bracing for a surge in violence, particularly in urban areas, which could harm AKP prospects in upcoming elections.

If Israel and Turkey are hurtling toward a final split, with Erdogan's government more oriented toward Iran and Syria than the Jewish state, the gloves may indeed come off.

Ankara is reported to be seeking to assemble another aid flotilla to challenge Israel's blockade of Gaza.

Meantime, Erdogan has placed his loyalists in charge of Turkey's intelligence service and other security agencies, effectively closing links with Israeli intelligence and long-used back channels that Israel's leadership valued greatly.

Israel and her French, German zionist jewish terrorist networks are preparing massive terror attacks, behind PKK flag to oust Erdogan

WARNING: We warn Sarkozy, Merkel and Netanyahu that the Islamic Resistance will strike back in a manner never seen before in the human history. Netanyahu, Sarkozy and Merkel governments are collapsing, they need a new 9/11, nuclear dirty bombs false flag operations, any terrorist operation in Turkey led by their rogue zionist jewish networks will provide an excuse to shut down these governments and provoke total chaos in Europe. Chaos is the only chance for these monsters to survive.

Israel wants Turkish PM out of office

An Israeli minister has called for the removal of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has condemned the deadly Israeli attack on an aid flotilla, from office.

"The Turkish people aren't the enemy, but Erdogan is Israel's enemy," Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov was quoted by the Israeli daily, Ha'aretz as saying on Saturday.

"This isn't a healthy situation, and unless he leaves office there is no room for optimism," he added.

The remarks come as relations between Israel and Turkey hit a new low following Tel Aviv's military attack on the Turkish-backed Freedom Flotilla aid convoy in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea on May 31, killing at least 20 human rights activists.

The relief mission had set sail to break Israel's siege of the Gaza Strip.

The Turkish Prosecutor's office in Istanbul has started an investigation in which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considered the main suspect behind the assault.

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Chief of Staff of the Israeli military Gabi Ashkenazi are also reported to be investigated.

Erdogan recently repeated his condemnation of the aggression. "We have not remained silent against this piracy and injustice, and we will not do so, and we will seek solutions within the framework of international law," he said.

Erdogan added that the Israeli "government" was Turkey's "problem."

Tel Aviv has so far refused to offer either apology or compensation for the deadly attack or its actions in its aftermath.

It has also defied a demand by the United Nations for an international probe, insisting it would run its own inquiry into the attack.

Ankara has, meanwhile, introduced a roadmap to "completely" cut all bilateral ties -- worth billions of dollars, Turkish paper Today's Zaman reported.

Netanyahu and his zionist jewish kemalist army are trying to destabilise Turkey before the Iran attack

Retired Gen. Çetin Doğan, the mastermind behind the new plan

Yet another underhanded plan allegedly by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) that aimed to create an atmosphere of chaos in the country through a series of acts of violence which would eventually lead to a military coup was exposed by the liberal Taraf daily on Wednesday.

The coup plan, titled the Balyoz [Sledgehammer] Security Operation Plan, was drafted in 2003, shortly after the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) came to power. The masterminds of the plan were retired Gen. Çetin Doğan, the then- commander of the 1st Army, retired Former Air Forces Commander Gen. İbrahim Fırtına and retired Gen. Ergin Saygun.

The Taraf report claimed that the coup plan -- a nearly 5,000-page document -- was agreed at a military meeting attended by 162 active TSK members, including 29 generals. According to the plan, the military was to systematically foment chaos in society through violent acts, among which were planned bomb attacks on the Fatih and Beyazıt mosques in İstanbul. The two are among the most frequented mosques in the city.

The bomb attacks were code-named “Çarşaf” (Black Chador) and “Sakal” (Beard) and were to be launched on a Friday, shortly after prayers. A nine-member squad -- under the command of a captain identified only by his initials, H.T. -- was to plant a remote-controlled bomb in a shoe cabinet at Fatih Mosque before leaving the building. The bomb would be detonated only seconds after the completion of the Friday prayer. A number of provocateurs would help increase chaotic atmosphere inside the mosque.

At Beyazıt Mosque, a similar bomb would be placed in the garden of the mosque by a team of gendarmerie officers, led by Maj. H.Ö.

The bomb would be detonated around 10 minutes before the call to Friday prayer. Provocateurs were to take to the scene once again, this time urging the frustrated crowd to hold violent rallies across the city. The desired result of these rallies would be an increase in domestic pressure on the AK Party government over their failure to ensure the security of people attending prayers at mosques.

The names of former Naval Forces Commander Adm. Özden Örnek -- the author of controversial diaries which revealed that four force commanders devised plans in 2004 to stage two military coups -- retired Brig. Gen. Süha Tanyeri and retired Col. Fikri Karadağ are also frequently mentioned in the plan.

Retired military judge Ümit Kardaş told Today’s Zaman that he was not surprised by the coup plan at all.

“There has always been a junta within the military. Nothing surprises me. There has been no investigation into the generals [whose names are cited in the plan]. It is not certain how the judiciary will act on the coup plan. Why hasn’t there been a parliamentary commission to investigate coup plans? The government is like a lame duck. It has been declared the focal point of anti-secular activities. A certain group in the media has been obsessed with claims of civilian fascism. The public is totally confused. … How will we call the security forces to account? No one is discussing this point,” he added.

TSK would crash its own jet

The Thunderstorm Air Operation Plan, part of the coup plan, was dedicated to a number of TSK plots to create tensions between Turkish and Greek military aircraft, which would culminate in a Turkish jet crashing after a skirmish with Greek jets. The TSK would get the jet to crash if the plan failed.

According to the plan, Turkish military aircraft would provoke Greek pilots by entering Greek airspace. A dogfight between aircraft of the two countries would result in the crash of a Turkish jet. If they were unable to provoke Greece, a Turkish pilot would crash one of the Turkish jets, blaming it on the Greeks. Subsequently, the Turkish media would accuse the AK Party government of failing to ensure the security of the country.

The tension would increase in the following days, with Turkish security forces patrolling Turkey’s borders with Greece. The Turkish navy would increase the number of training exercises in the Aegean Sea, giving the impression that they were preparing to go to war with Greece. Warplanes would be kept ready for flight at the Balıkesir, Bandırma, Çiğli, Çorlu and Dalaman airports. A group of high-ranking members of the military would increase their dialogue with businessmen, jurists and the public in order to boost the image of the Turkish military in the eyes of the public.

The recently exposed Sledgehammer plan allegedly aims to incite chaos in society through a series of acts of violence, such as bombing İstanbul’s Beyazıt and Fatih mosques at times when they are most crowded.

The plan clearly stated the desired result of the tension between Turkey and Greece: “By using the existing weapons systems, psychological pressure will be inflicted on the government and Parliament.”

The Sept. 12, 1980 coup d’état, the most violent military intervention in Turkish history, was an example for the Sledgehammer Security Operation Plan. The plan states that the Sept. 12 coup put an end to all the problems and chaos in the country. “There is no need for extra efforts for the elimination of a similar threat. The easiest method would be the implementation of a Sept. 12-like operation,” noted the plan.

Plot to attack the İstanbul Aviation Museum

The coup plan also aimed to ignite tension between members of the military and “fundamentalist groups” in society in the name of the protection of the country’s secular values.

According to the plan, the members of the 34th Fleet Command would hold a rally in Kadıköy Square. A huge number of people would attend the rally. A second rally would be held in the conservative Çarşamba area of the Fatih district. The rally would be followed by an attack on the İstanbul Aviation Museum in Yeşilköy by men and women in tunics and black chadors. The attackers would throw Molotov cocktails at the museum and would carry green flags representing Islam.

The planned attack was to show conservative Muslims as enemies of the secular republic and worsen relations between the TSK and the AK Party government.

The museum attack would be followed by a series of similar attacks at military facilities, including the 3rd and 8th Main Jet Base Commands. The force behind the attacks would again be fundamentalist groups that want to bring Shariah to Turkey. After the attacks, security forces would start patrolling streets and roads as if it was a period of military rule. The security forces would detain suspected individuals and would use weapons if necessary.

“Activities will continue without interruption until the government declares martial law. If Parliament fails to garner the required support of deputies for the declaration of martial law, the Air Forces Command will stage air shows in Ankara’s city center upon an invitation by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce [ATO]. The low-altitude flights above the Parliament building will make deputies feel the presence of the TSK,” stated the coup plan.

‘AK Party, major threat to secular order’

The coup plan also described the “enemies” and “friends” of the armed forces in the country. According to the document, the AK Party stands as the major threat to Turkey’s secular order.

“Encouraged by the practices of the ruling party, reactionary groups interpret the principle of secularism, which stands as the basis of our state structure, in accordance with their own interests and objectives. Within this scope, it is widely seen that they insist on using the headscarf -- a symbol of the movement of reactionaryism -- in many state institutions. Such an insistence is aimed at establishing a state order based on religion, which is against the principles of a secular republic,” suggested the document.

The plan accuses the AK Party of serving the interests of the United States and the European Union instead of the interests of the Turkish Republic and allowing reactionaryism to gain ground in the country. “The followers of the AK Party and religious communities are rapidly setting up their own cadres in state posts. Using the opportunity of being the ruling party, the AK Party is working to make the media, civil society organizations and the bureaucracy dependent on the government. The party also aims to restore an [religious] education system through tekke and zaviyes [dervish lodges] to train fundamentalist individuals,” reads the document.

The plan also criticized the EU and Middle Eastern countries for lending support to the reactionary and separatist activities of the AK Party.

The plan stated that the AK Party received around 30 percent of the vote in the Nov. 3, 2002 parliamentary elections, but a significant percentage of the vote for the party came from voters who were protesting the lack of a strong political will in the country. The plan expressed the military’s displeasure at the AK Party being represented in Parliament.

“It has become an urgent need to remove them [the followers of the AK Party] not only from the TSK but also from all public institutions. Our plans and activities to protect the republic are ongoing,” notes the plan.

The plan also called for more coordinated activities with the Support for Modern Life Association (ÇYDD), the Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) and the Turkey Youth Union (TGB).

“We will continue coordinating our activities and attitudes with the opposition parties to thwart any propaganda or legal amendment by the AK Party [against the secular order of the country],” adds the coup plan.
