Al-Anbar Province. Ar-Rutbah. Resistance fighters blow up puppet police station in western al-Anbar near Jordanian border. In a dispatch posted at 9:47pm Baghdad time Wednesday night, the Yaqen News Agency reported that armed men attacked the puppet police station No. 160 in western al-Anbar Province on the International Highway that runs from Baghdad to Jordan. Yaqen reported that the armed men arrested all the puppet policemen at the post, tied them up and then planted explosives around the building.
The attackers blew up the building, razing it to the ground. The fighters then released the puppet policemen, threatening to kill them if they rejoined the puppet police. They also issued them messages to take to the collaborator tribal “Awakening” police forces in which they announced that the Resistance was able to capture the provincial capital of ar-Ramadi in just a few hours if they wanted to and warned that if the “Awakening” collaborators continued to fight against the Resistance they would face punishment whenever the city was liberated. Ar-Ramadi. Puppet police arrest five at outskirts of ar-Ramadi Wednesday. In a dispatch posted at 5:17pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the puppet police arrested five people who were trying to enter the city of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the five were in a car coming to the city from the as-Sufiyah area and failed to provide proper identification. They were therefore arrested and taken away for interrogation. Baghdad. Sectarian murder spree continues: four more bodies found dumped around Baghdad Wednesday. In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the puppet police recovered the bodies of four more victims of sectarian murder that had been dumped in various parts of Baghdad on Wednesday. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that thee of the bodies were found in Baghdad’s ar-Rusafah district and one in al-Karakh. All were bound and blindfolded and had been shot to death. Bomb explodes by US column in northern Baghdad Wednesday morning. In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a bomb exploded by a US military column in the Sab‘ Abkar area to the north of Baghdad on Wednesday morning. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the Americans sealed off the area immediately after the attack, preventing any information on the nature or extent of US casualties from leaking out. As of the time of reporting, the Americans had issued not statement regarding the attack. US admits deaths of three more American troops in occupied Iraq.
In a dispatch posted at 10:45am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the Pentagon admitted that two US officers and one soldier had been killed in Iraq. Yaqen reported one communiqué as announcing that two American naval officers had been killed on Monday, 4 February, from light arms fire in combat in Iraq. The statement gave no indication as to where they had died. A second communiqué announced the death of a US soldier from a bomb explosion in combat in al-Miqdadiyah in Diyala Province on Sunday, 3 February. Salah ad-Din Province. Samarra’. Two puppet army troops killed in ambush outside Samarra’. In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that armed men shot and killed two puppet army troops on the main road near Samarra’, 120km north of Baghdad on Wednesday.
Yaqen reported a source in the puppet regime as saying that the regime tightened security at the entrances to Samarra’ following the attack. Tikrit. US barrage on village south of Tikrit kills three civilians Wednesday. In a dispatch posted at 8:45pm Baghdad time Wednesday night, the Yaqen News Agency reported that US forces bombarded the an-Na‘imah area south of Tikrit, 180km north of Baghadad, targeting a house in what was the second American bombardment of the area in two days. Yaqen reported Colonel Thabit Ahmad, the Director of Information Security in the Tirkit puppet regime said Wednesday that the barrage killed three civilians who lived in the house that the Americans attacked. On Tuesday, an American barrage killed three members of one family and wounded a fourth in a similar US attack on villagers. President of Tikrit University seriously wounded in assassination attempt. In a dispatch posted at 2:35pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a bomb exploded by the car in which the President of Tikrit University was riding through the city, 180km north of Baghdad, on Wednesday morning. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that Dr. Mahir Salih ‘Allawi, the President of Tikrit University, survived an assassination attempt when a high-explosive bomb exploded by his ca on the Joint Highway near the university. Dr ‘Allawi was, however, severely wounded in the blast. As of the time of reporting, Tikrit University had issued no statement regarding the attack. Since the US invasion of Iraq in the spring of 2003, hundreds of Iraqi intellectuals have been gunned down in mysterious circumstances as part of an apparent plot, generally attributed to the Zionist Mossad secret police, to eliminate the country’s intelligentsia. Diyala Province. Al-Khalis. Bomb wounds four civilians, three of them women, near al-Khalis Wednesday. In a dispatch posted at 2:33pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a bomb exploded by a civilian car in the al-Khalis area, 57km north of Baghdad on Wednesday.
Yaqen reported a source in the Diyala Province puppet police who asked not to be identified as saying that the blast, near the village of al-Hashimiyat, wounded four people, three of them women. The victims were all taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. US air raid near al-Khalis Tuesday night kills 20 Iraqi civilians. In a dispatch posted at 11:55am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that an American air raid killed 20 Iraqi civilians in the at-Tahwilah area near al-Khalis, 57km north of Baghdad late on Tuesday night. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the American raid targeted the village of al-Bu Ghazzal in the at-Tahwilah area, killing 20 civilians. As of the time of reporting, the Americans had issued no statement on the attack. At-Ta’mim Province. Kirkuk. Tribal leader wounded in ambush in Kirkuk Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that an armed group attacked the car in which Shaykh Walid Husayn al-‘Asi, a leader of the al-‘Ubayd tribe, was riding through Kirkuk at midday Wednesday. Yaqen reported a source in the tribe as saying that the shaykh was moderately wounded in the attack and was later taken to the Kirkuk City Hospital with a leg wound. His condition was reported as being stable. Ninwa Province. Al-Mawsil. Ambush leaves two puppet policemen dead in al-Mawsil Wednesday. In a dispatch posted at 11am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that armed men shot and killed two puppet policemen and wounded two more in the city of al-Mawsil, 420km northwest of Baghdad on Wednesday. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a puppet police patrol came under fire in the Bab Sinjar area of western al-Mawsil. The source added that one of those killed was a first lieutenant. Al-Qadisiyah Province. Ad-Diwaniyah. Bomb explodes by patrol of Polish occupation troops in ad-Diwaniyah Wednesday morning. In a dispatch posted at 1pm Baghdad time Wednesday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a bomb exploded by a patrol of Polish occupation troops n the al-‘Urubah neighborhood of ad-Diwaniyah, 180km south of Baghdad, on Wednesday morning. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet regime’s security forces as saying that the blast killed four people and wounded nine more – seven of those members of the puppet “Emergency Police.”
Al-Basrah Province. Al-Basrah. Katyusha rockets blast into British base in al-Basrah Wednesday afternoon. In a dispatch posted at 9:55pm Baghdad time Wednesday night, the Yaqen News Agency reported that on Wednesday afternoon, three Katyusha rockets blasted into the British base set up at al-Basrah International Airport. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the three rockets landed near the headquarters on the base but no information on the nature or extent of losses was available. After the attack British helicopters attacked rocket bases in the al-Husayn neighborhood to the west of al-Basrah, sending fires burning in the area.

In a dispatch posted at 9:10pm Baghdad time Thursday night, the Yaqen News Agency reported that gunmen assaulted the home of an officer in the puppet police in the city of ar-Rutbah in western Iraq near the Jordanian border on Thursday evening. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police who refused to be identified as saying that gunmen attacked the home of First Lieutenant Shakir Mahmud al-Kubaysi, an investigative officer in the ar-Rutbah puppet police. The gunmen used machine guns and hand grenades in their attack, which wounded four members of the officer’s family. The wounded individuals were taken to ar-Rutbah Hospital for treatment. Ar-Ramadi. Resistance group shoots down unmanned American spy plane. In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Baghdad time Thursday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the Islamic Army Resistance organization claimed credit for shooting down an unmanned spy plane near the ath-Tharthar base north of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad. Yaqen reported a spokesman for the Islamic Army as saying that a group of its fighters filmed the downing. Baghdad. In a dispatch posted at 7:15pm Baghdad time Thursday night, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the puppet police recovered the bodies of five more victims of sectarian murder that had been dumped around Baghdad on Thursday. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that three of the bodies were found in the ar-Rusafah district, while the fourth and fifth were recovered in the al-Hurriyah and al-Ghazaliyah neighborhoods respectively. US admits two more American deaths in occupied Iraq. In a dispatch posted at 5:50pm Baghdad time Thursday evening, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the US military admitted that a bomb exploded by an American military vehicle in western Baghdad on Wednesday, killing one more US occupation soldier. Yaqen reported an American communiqué as providing no other details in keeping with the US policy of concealing information on American losses. Earlier, in a dispatch posted at 11am Thursday morning, Yaqen reported that the Pentagon admitted that one more American soldier had been killed in southern Iraq. Yaqen reported a US communiqué as announcing that the soldier died of wounds received in what the Americans described as a non-combat incident on Tuesday, 5 February in the al-Imam ‘Ali (Talil) Base west of an-Nasiriyah, 385km southeast of Baghdad. The al-Imam ‘Ali Base has been a frequent target of Katyusha rocket attacks in recent days. American troops wound three civilians in assault on Madinat as-Sadr in Baghdad earlyt Thursday.
In a dispatch posted on its Arabic website at 4:10pm Thursday afternoon Beijing time (11:10am Baghdad time), the Xinhua News Agency reported that US occupation troops surrounded the Madinat as-Sadr area of eastern Baghdad early Thursday morning and clashed with armed men there. Xinhua reported a source in the puppet police as saying that three civilians were sounded and no information was available on the nature or extent of losses among the Americans or their armed adversaries. As of the time of reporting, the Americans had issued no statement regarding the attack.

Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the blast wounded three of the men on the patrol. The injured policemen were evacuated to al-Yarmuk Hospital for treatment. Salah ad-Din Province. Tikrit. Gunmen kill brother of chairman of puppet municipal council for Tikrit.
In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm Baghdad time Thursday night, the Yaqen News Agency reported that unknown gunmen killed four civilians, including the brother of the chairman of the puppet municipal council for Tikrit, 180km north of Baghdad on Thursday. Yaqen reported Colonel Thabit ad-Duri of the puppet army as saying that gunmen in two cars attacked a civilian car in which four people were driving through the ad-Duba‘i area. One of those in the car was Salim Jabbari Matar, the brother of ‘Arif Jabbar, the chairman of the puppet municipal council for Tikrit. The attackers sprayed the car with bullets, killing the four inside and then set fire to the car. Bayji.
Hand grenades target US patrol in Bayji Thursday. In a dispatch posted at 7:45pm Baghdad time Thursday night, the Yaqen News Agency reported that two hand grenades exploded by puppet police and US troop patrols near the az-Zaytun Restaurant and the Bride Studio in Bayji, 200km north of Baghdad on Thursday. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet regime as saying that the blasts caused no damage or casualties. US and puppet regime troops surrounded the area after the attack. Bomb damages US Humvee near Bayji Thrusday morning. In a dispatch posted at 10:25am Baghdad time Thursday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a bomb went off by a US patrol in Bayji, 200km north of Baghdad on Thursday morning. Yaqen reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb inflicted heavy damage on an American Humvee. A worker at a chemical fertilizer works told Yaqen that afterwards US helicopters closed off the area where the attack took place. Diyala Province. Al-Mada’in. Three collaborator police killed in bomb attack in al-Mada’in Thursday. In a dispatch posted at 6:20pm Baghdad time Thursday evening, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a bomb exploded by tribal collaborators belonging to the “Awakening” police force carrying out raids and searches of houses in al-Mada’in, 25km southeast of Baghdad, on Thursday. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that three collaborators were killed and seven more wounded when an explosive device in a Coaster bus blew up opposite the house they were searching. Salman Bak. Bomb wounds two puppet policemen in Salman Bak. In a dispatch posted at 1:35pm Baghdad time Thursday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that unknown gunmen blew up eight communication towers for mobile telephone services in Ninwa Province on Thursday. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the towers were located in various parts of the area and belonged to the ‘Iraquna and Asia Cell communication companies. Bomb kills puppet policeman in al-Mawsil Thursday. In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Baghdad time Thursday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a bomb exploded in the al-Intisar neighborhood of northeastern al-Mawsil, 420km northwest of Baghdad on Thursday. The blast killed one puppet policeman and wounded another person. Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that a second bomb went off in the northern al-Mawsil neighborhood of al-Masarif, causing no casualties. American forces arrest woman, son in al-Mawsil Wednesday night.
In a dispatch posted at 6:41pm Baghdad time Thursday evening, the Yaqen News Agency reported that US occupation forces arrested a woman in her forties and her eldest son, aged 13 years, in operations in the Ziyadah neighborhood of al-Mawsil, 420km northwest of Baghdad Wednesday night. Yaqen reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Americans made the arrest during a raid on a house inhabited by a woman and her five children. Dhi Qar Province. An-Nasiriyah. Katyusha rockets strike American base near an-Nasiriyah, wounding US, Bengali occupation troops. In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Baghdad time Thursday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a barrage of Katyusha rockets slammed into the US-occupied Imam ‘Ali (Talil) base near an-Nasiriyah, 385km southeast of Baghdad, on Wednesday night. Yaqen reported an informed source in the base as saying that one of the Katyusha rockets blasted into the medical storage area in the base, where it wounded one Bengali soldier and two American troops. The source went on to say that one American might have been killed in the barrage. Earlier, at 8:20pm Wednesday night two Katyusha rockets were fired into the base. Al-Qadisiyah Province. Ad-Diwaniyah. Puppet forces arrest three Jaysh al-Mahdi fighters on charges of attacking security troops in ad-Diwaniyah. In a dispatch posted at 4:12pm Baghdad time Thursday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the US-backed Iraqi puppet security forces arrested three members of the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia in the course of mass raids and arrests in ad-Diwaniyah, 180km south of Baghdad, on Thursday.
The three are credited with involvement in attacks on puppet regime security forces. Yaqen reported a source in the US-supported puppet security forces as saying that a force of puppet police and army troops with air support from Polish occupation troops carried out mass raids and arrests in the neighborhoods of al-‘Urubah al-Ula, al-‘Urubah ath-Thaniyah, as-Saray, and al-Jumhuri searching for individuals wanted by the American-run regime. In recent months the Jaysh al-Mahdi has been the target of US and puppet regime forces, in particular in Baghdad and the cities of southern Iraq where the Americans and their Iraqi puppet regime allies have killed or captured a large number of the militia’s commanders and cadres. The Jaysh al-Mahdi has also come into conflict with other, rival Shi‘i sectarian militias as they vie for control of the southern part of the country. Karbala’ Province. Karbala’. In a dispatch posted at 4:45pm Baghdad time Thursday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the puppet police in the city of Karbala’ in southern Iraq arrested seven members of the pro-Iranian Jaysh al-Mahdi militia and other individuals in the city.
Yaqen reported Major General Ra’id Shakir Jawdat, the commander of the US-backed regime’s operations in Karbala’ as claiming that his forces also captured 120 weapons and 60kg of high explosives during the operations in the al-Hurr, ‘Ayn at-Tamar, and an-Nakhib areas of the city Thursday. The puppet regime commander also claimed to have captured three 60mm mortars and four rocket launchers in addition to dynamite that had been hidden in a bakery truck near a checkpoint. The source claimed to have found other stocks of weapons around the city. In recent months the Jaysh al-Mahdi has been the target of US and puppet regime forces, in particular in Baghdad and the cities of southern Iraq where the Americans and their Iraqi puppet regime allies have killed or captured a large number of the militia’s commanders and cadres. The Jaysh al-Mahdi has also come into conflict with other, rival Shi‘i sectarian militias as they vie for control of the southern part of the country. Al-Basrah Province.
Al-Basrah. British base targeted by Kaytusha barrage in al-Basrah early Thursday. In a dispatch posted at 1:02pm Makkah time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a rocket barrage slammed into the British-occupied base at al-Basrah International Airport early Thursday morning. Mafkarat al-Islam reported a communiqué issued by the British as reporting the attack and asserting that the barrage inflicted no casualties or damage. A source in the al-Basrah Province puppet police command claimed that the rockets, which were Katyusha missiles, landed outside the British-occupied base but caused no civilian casualties. In response to the attack, the British unleashed an artillery barrage that also caused no casualties, the source said.

Al-Anbar Province. Al-Hadithah. Resistance group in al-Hadithah reports killing two collaborator members of “al-Anbar Awakening” police. In a dispatch posted at 6pm Baghdad time Friday evening, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the Resistance organization known as the Assault Brigades (Kata’ib as-Sawlah) had announced that it had killed two collaborators belonging to the American sponsored “Awakening” police in the area of al-Hadithah, 270km northwest of Baghdad. Ar-Ramadi. Resistance group reports killing two US troops in ar-Ramadi. In a dispatch posted at 5:36pm Baghdad time Friday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the Iraqi Resistance announced that its fighters had killed two US troops in the as-Sufiyah area of ar-Ramadi and bombarded the US base in Hit with mortars.

In a dispatch posted at 5:11pm Baghdad time Friday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a 15-minute gun battle took place between armed men and puppet policemen in al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad, at 4:30pm Friday afternoon. Armed attack on puppet police checkpoint reported early Friday morning. In a dispatch posted on its Arabic website at 4:17pm Friday afternoon Beijing time (11:17am Baghdad time), the Xinhua News Agency reported that gunmen attacked a checkpoint in the as-Saqlawiyah area, 5km northeast of al-Fallujah (which is 60km west of Baghdad) early on Friday morning. In a dispatch posted at 4:55pm Baghdad time Friday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that three people were killed and three more wounded when puppet police opened fire on residents of Hit, 180km northwest of Baghadad.

In a dispatch posted at 7:06pm Baghdad time Friday night, the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq (AMSI) reported that puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir) together with puppet “Order Protection Police” stormed into a Palestinian residential complex in the al-Baladiyat section of eastern Baghdad on Thursday evening. The AMSI reported that two armored cars loaded with the US-backed police raided the housing complex for Palestinian refugees.
